Aluminum Cranes

Aluminum cranes have working heights of up to 44 meters. With the sensitive radio control, loads can be placed precisely and quickly on a roof. The cranes can be quickly converted into aerial work platforms. Valve blocks with lowering brake valves for sensitive control and downstream pilot-operated check valves for increased safety during aerial work platform operation are used on the cylinders.

Agricultural Technology

The professional equipment is designed for field cultivation and crop production, with good soil reconsolidation and perfect seed placement. The combination can be used universally for both mulch seeding and conventional plow seeding. The valve block used controls the functions for folding for road travel, as well as the optimal ground adaptation of the coulter bar, lifting of the seed bar and leveling tines, control of oscillation, and the drive of the filling auger and blower.

Inclined Lifts

Inclined lifts solve transport problems from 5 to 48 m. They are often used as construction lifts for transporting roof tiles or as furniture lifts to move loads up to 400 kg. These can be mounted on trailers or trucks. The valve block controls the controlled lifting and lowering of the load and ladder winch, as well as the tracking of the load carriages when extending or retracting the ladder sections.

Aerial Work Platforms

Truck-mounted aerial work platforms are ideal for applications with frequently changing locations, high lifting heights, and lateral reach. Typical applications include facade cleaning, tree pruning, maintenance, and repairs on tall structures. For wind turbines, lifting heights of over 100 m with a basket load of 600 kg are achieved. To achieve maximum safety and precise control, valve blocks are flanged directly to the hydraulic cylinder.

Marine Technology

Larger ships are equipped with hydraulically driven steering gear. However, there are also other applications in shipbuilding for hydraulic controls, such as wheelhouse lifting devices to change the height of the wheelhouse. For low bridge clearances, the wheelhouse may also need to be lowered. The control blocks for steering gear are equipped with proportional valves for sensitive control.  For energy saving, load-sensing pumps are also installed, which take their load signal via shuttle valves in the control block on the consumer lines. Emergency control via a second pump system with corresponding control valves is also important.

Drilling Rigs

For geothermal, geotechnical, and well construction, deep drilling into the ground is required. In addition to the drilling drive, drilling feed control is an important component for efficient drilling. B&B Fluidsysteme supplies the control block for pressures up to 350 bar for this purpose.
